What happens to the details you send me

Which details and why?

I use the information you provide, such as your name, telephone number, email address, profile, message and property information, to respond to your enquiry and, if requested, prepare a possible collaboration. The rental guide form uses your details to deliver the guide, record the request and notify me of the new enquiry.

The short qualification form keeps your answers in the current page’s memory. It does not submit them to a database. At the end, you can review a prepared message and choose to send it yourself via WhatsApp.

For service enquiries, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For other questions and managing enquiries, the basis is my legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to me (Article 6(1)(f)). Other guides or marketing communications are sent only with your optional consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where are details kept and who receives them?

I handle the initial enquiry directly through your chosen channel: form, telephone, email or WhatsApp. I may keep information needed to follow up on my computer and in my email inbox. These providers may retain communications under their own terms.

The guide form uses Resend to deliver the guide and an internal notification. Your email address is shared with Resend for this purpose. See Resend’s privacy policy.

If you proceed with a real estate mediation process, necessary information may be shared with Worldwidexl, Lda. (RE/MAX Expo, AMI licence 13534). You will receive the privacy information applicable to that process and its agreement. External calculators open on their providers’ websites and are subject to those providers’ privacy terms.

How long?

If an enquiry or guide request does not lead to an ongoing process, I review and delete follow-up information that is no longer necessary, no later than 12 months after the last interaction, or sooner if the purpose ends. Where you consent to other communications, I retain the record until you withdraw consent or it is no longer needed, with periodic reviews. Mediation processes, legal obligations or the defence of rights may require necessary information to be retained for the applicable period.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent, as applicable, by emailing hdomingues@remax.pt. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing. You may also complain to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).

Ebooks and monthly newsletter

The owners and buyers ebook forms use your name, email, profile and optional WhatsApp to record the request in the site’s Cloudflare data infrastructure, optionally synchronise it with Supabase, deliver the PDF through Resend and notify Hugo Domingues. Newsletter subscription is optional and separate from ebook access.

The monthly newsletter is sent only after an explicit request and email confirmation. Name, email, source, subscription status, consent dates, cancellation link and delivery records are stored in the site’s Cloudflare data infrastructure. Past leads and ebook requests are not automatically enrolled. Imported contact lists, including Excel lists, do not constitute a subscription: contacts without recorded permission and confirmation are excluded from newsletter editions. The legal basis is consent, which you can withdraw using the link in any edition or by email. Cancelled addresses are excluded from future sends; a minimal suppression record is retained as needed. Unconfirmed requests are removed during monthly reviews after 30 days without confirmation; technical delivery records are reviewed within 12 months, unless legal requirements justify longer retention.

Monthly editorial content may be assisted by AI using public institutional sources. Subscriber personal data is not included in content generation. Communications are published under Hugo Domingues’ responsibility.
